FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What happens if I cancel my training session?
  • Your session time-slot has been booked specifically for you, therefore 24 hours notice is required for any cancellation, or the full fee will still apply.
  • I understand there will be exceptional circumstances which can not be avoided (that's life!). If this is the case we can address such situations as they arise.
  • Should you need to cancel your session, please phone Kate directly.

What if it's raining?
  • If it is light rain, we will go ahead.
  • If it is torrential rain and there is not sufficient dry cover at the pre-selected location, (if possible) an alternate location will be sourced prior to the session.
  • In the event of lightning/hail the session may be cancelled for safety reasons.
Whatever the weather scenario, should any change occur, I will know who to contact because you will have previously informed me if you plan to be coming to the session :)

Oh no... I'm running late!
  • Regardless of whether you're late or on time, your session will finish at the pre-booked completion time. So please be on time to get the most from your session.
  • If you are going to be late, contact Kate directly.
  • There is no refund for missed time during your session.
Do I need a medical check up before I start with Kate Auld PT?
  • It is important to assess if you have any medical symptoms or issues that may represent a substantial risk when beginning or upgrading your physical activity/exercise.
  • Before joining Kate for a session, it is compulsory to complete a Client Information questionnaire and/or Waiver Form (provided by Kate Auld PT).
  • Based on the information you provide, Kate may recommend you see a medical practitioner or appropriate allied health professional for a check-up/advice, before commencing with Kate Auld PT.
  • This process is designed to be in your best interest: including your safety and ongoing health.

What are some of the medical symptoms/issues that may need to be checked?
  • View the Adult Pre-Exercise Screening questionnaire (I promise it's quick!) to self evaluate if you need to seek guidance from your GP or other health professional prior to undertaking physical activity/exercise.
  • The seven questions cover major areas of cardiovascular, metabolic and respiratory diseases as well as signs and symptoms of disease.
